汤杰,1979年8月生,男,中共党员,博士,研究员,现任中国气象局上海台风研究所副所长。联合国亚洲及太平洋经济社会委员会(ESCAP)/世界气象组织(WMO)台风委员会气象工作组主席,世界气象组织登陆台风专家组成员,上海市气象局台风科技创新团队负责人。主要从事台风外场科学试验、台风边界层动力学研究,发表研究论文40余篇,取得专利及软件著作权 4项。获上海市科学技术进步二等奖、上海市五四青年奖章集体负责人等荣誉。GRL、JGR、JAS、MWR等多家国际顶级期刊审稿人,国家自然科学基金项目的历年评审者。
